BECOMING AN OUTSTANDING SCHOOL

 

OFSTED has recently published three key reportsbased on the inspections of OUTSTANDING schools. The reports reveal:

The reports are:

This report examines a sample of 20 primary schools including infant and junior schools which have been identified in inspection as OUTSTANDING. The report shows what can be done when children are placed at the centre of teaching and learning. It identifies how schools can be successful in reducing the achievement gap between children from different backgrounds.

An Ofsted Report based on the inspection of 44 schools which successfully use creative approachesto improve teaching and learning. These schools use creative strategies to get pupils to ask questions independently, make connections between ideas, think creatively, challenge and participate effectively, and reflect on their learning.

This OFSTED REPORT shows how workforce reform has made a considerable difference to pupils’ learning and it reveals how some schools have used workforce reform to raise standards.
