Writing a 6 Page SES
Writing a 6 School Self-Evaluation Summary
Schools are expected to present their pre-inspection information to inspectors in a Self-Evaluation Summary that is no more than about six pages long. Reduced time for inspections means that inspectors are finding shorter self-evaluation summaries very useful.
As schools now get little notice of inspection it is even more important to have your SES ‘done and dusted’. So following our very successful ‘Write Your SES in a Day’ courses, we have produced our newest resource pack to help schools write their SES ready for the NEW 2019 Inspection Framework.
The resource pack follows Chris’ usual format and will enable headteachers prepare their new shorter six page SES (self-evaluation summary) ready for inspection. The pack will also enable them to prepare a two page version as there are already indications that Ofsted is moving in that direction.
The pack includes writing templates and examples of a ready written 6 page SES and 2 page summaries in Word Format so that schools are not starting from a blank sheet.
